Look At Me

Too many things have happened in just a short period of time. I have come to think of life as something that just passes us by. Something that, if we continue to ignore, would be meaningless. So that's why they keep on telling me to have fun and not to think of my problems because that too, shall pass. I certainly hope so.

Today, I posted a bulletin at Friendster...

Sometimes, in our relentless efforts to find the
person we love, we fail to recognize and
appreciate the people who love us. We miss out
on so many beautiful things and simply because
we allow ourselves to be enslaved by our own
selfish concerns. Go for the man of deeds and
not for the man of words for you will find
rewarding happiness not with the man you love
but the man who loves you more.

It’s not just love, but the things that really mattered to us. Once they’re gone, it’s the only time we come to realize that they have been imperative; yet, we continued to close our eyes. And when it passes, we regret that we looked the other way.

How then should we know? That I’ll leave to you…
